getting a new website. how does it go?
If you are interested on having a website done, you are on the right place! Don’t be shy and drop me a message to say “Hi” and give me an overview of what you want. With that we can get things started!
After we have chatted and you have got an overview of the different available options for your site, I will send you a questionnaire to determine in detail the shape of your project. This will define the time and the price of the service so it fits your needs in the best possible manner!
After we’ve gone through the questionnaire, we’ll start defining your website. We’ll set a cool moodboard that supports your style and brand, and that will start giving you a taste of how cool your site will be!
In this step we’ll make your site shapely. The wireframes are the backbone of your new site. They will help you to see how the information and images will be structured, how the users will navigate your site. With them we’ll make sure that everything is in the place they want it to be before moving forward!
The mockups introduce the content on the site. They give it the color, the images and the content. The mockups are the final step before the website comes to life. With them you will see almost exactly, how the website will look like, and, once they are accepted, we’ll be sure the website is exactly as you wanted it to be. It is an exciting part of the project!
This is the final step. Here the site will be moved from the mockup prototype to life. We’ll not only set up the site itself, but we’ll be also asembling all the pieces together so the site is integrated with the mailing system, with analytic tools and other important aspects of a life web. After this step you are ready to receive your first visitors.
You’d think that, after your site is life, it will all be done… but that’s not true! Unless you want to keep working with me to take care of your site (I will be glad of doing so though!!), you need to learn how to navigate the pages to keep them safe and updated in content. After your site is life I will have a few sessions with you, were I will teach you all you need to know to take care of your site!
